Vocational Service

Career Development – The committee organizes programs to expose high school students to various career opportunities and also coordinates a Career Day at Georgia Avenue School, where honor students visit offices of Rotarians and attend the weekly club meeting.

Vocational Activities – Committee activities focus on providing high school students with information about vocations, arranging an informative speaker for a club meeting, and recognizing an outstanding individual or company for vocational efforts in the community.

White Station Elementary School – The club has adopted this elementary school in east Memphis which serves a diverse population.. The committee coordinates club activities at the school including a dictionary project, Junior Achievement programs, tutoring, Adopt-a-Class, an essay contest, a clothes closet and numerous other programs.

Interact Club – The club sponsors a service and leadership training club for students at Overton High School. The Interact program promotes service projects to benefit those less fortunate in the community.
