Adopted by Memphis East in August of 2012, we provides services and projects that enhance the student’s learning capabilities while providing services that benefit the students as well as the staff.
Although this is a new adopted school for Memphis East, the club has many years of experience in this area as we served the Georgia Avenue Elementary School from 1990 until its closing in 2012.
For WSE, we provide a clothes closet for children who have need of basic clothing articles and school uniforms. We provide Junior Achievement classes, tutoring, and landscaping projects for the school while providing the students with science education. Numerous projects were developed this first year and more will come on board as our service to the school continues.
